The disk plotter is a more complex project than the ones I did before.
The purpose is simple: print on the upside of a CD or DVD. You can download below the building
as well as the setup instructions in PDF format. You need to be an experienced builder
to complete the instructions and align the moving parts. Nevertheless, the result is
worth the time and efforts and you will get a fully functional plotter.
There are currently 2 different software versions available. One is more simple and prints on the disk in a circular pattern.
The other one is more complex and can write on the disk linearly. This software is still under
development and will be downloadable sometime in the future.

Programming

The program for the Disk Plotter was written in NBC. NBC can be downloaded here.
The integrated compiler environment called BricxCC can be downloaded here.
The simple program version for the Disk Plotter only supports writing in a circular pattern. It is going to be downloadable, soon.
The complex program version for the Disk Plotter supports writing in a linear pattern. It is going to be downloadable later.
