Starting with version 1.0.8 we stopped selling Single-Device licences!
If you have purchased a pre-1.0.8 Single-Device Licence, you are eligible free of charge to receive a new unlock code for the 1.0.8
version. In order to receive your new code, please
email Sorosy Dot Com.
You can unlock STExplorer with the unlock code that you will receive during the purchase process. The unlock code is
calculated from the owner's name on the device. The owner's name is case sensitive. STExplorer will continue working in demo
mode if the owner name on the device changes.

Use the following link to download the installer application. This will install STExplorer on your MIPS, SH3, ARM or XScale
processor based Pocket PC, PocketPC 2002, PocketPC 2003 or Smart Phone device.
If you participated in our Beta test program, you need to uninstall the Beta version from your Pocket device before installing the final version!

Once you start the STExplorer installation and agree to the licencing terms,
the installer will call the CE Application Manager component of
ActiveSync
to finish the installation on your mobile device.
At this point you can start STExplorer and use it in demo mode.
This is the list of functionality limitation of the demo (locked) version:
- Registration popup every time when starting the application
- Application run time is limited to 90 seconds
- Registration popup at the end of limited run time; if registration is cancelled or failed at this point, the application terminates
- Settings are not persistent between runs
- Show and manipulate (copy, move, rename, delete, edit etc.) only files smaller than 1KByte
- Cannot change or delete file types, associations or create new file type and association

When you start STExplorer on your device it will show you the registered owner's name.
The registration procedure requires you to enter the owner's name on the online purchase page. The online store server during processing your credit card information will generate the serial code (response code, unlock code) that will unlock your copy of STExplorer on your device.
Supplying incorrect owner's name during the purchase procedure will provide a serial that will not unlock the demo version. Please double check the owner's name before submitting it on the page!
It is case sensitive and must be entered exactly as presented by STExplorer.
Please note, you can not unlock STExplorer if you do not have the owner's name set!
Unlocking the demo application happens by typing in the exact serial number given the user by the seller at the end of the purchase procedure. The user will also be emailed the serial number for future reference.

Sorosy Dot Com is not responsible for mistyped owner name. Sorosy Dot Com will make decisions about re-releasing new unlock codes and refunding registration fees only on a case by case bases!
Registration FAQ:
- Why do I need the owner's name?
The unlock code during the online purchase process is generated from the owner's name and can unlock STExporer only on devices with that owner name set.
- How do I know the owner's name?
When your copy of STExplorer runs on your device in demo mode it shows you the registration dialog quite often. The owner's name is in this dialog.
- How do I set the owner's name?
From your device's Start Menu open the Settings Dialog, then open the Owner Information applet and fill the Name box.
- My device does not have the owner's name set, is this a problem?
Yes. You cannot unlock STExplorer if you do not have the owner's name set.
- What if the owner's name changed for any reason?
Your unlock serial code will not work any more and STExplorer will continue working in demo mode.
- What is the unlock or serial or registration code?
These terms cover the same code. It is generated by the online store from the owner's name. You should use it to unlock your copy of STExplorer on your device.
- Can I get a new unlock code?
After-purchase requests for new serial codes are decided on a case by case bases. It is required to have a valid explanation why the code has changed. Check the Links sections above for contact addresses.
- I've hard reset my device and STExplorer works only in demo mode. How is it possible?
You forgot to set the owner name in the Owner Information applet of your Pocket PC. The owner name should be the same in order to continue using STExplorer.
- What do I do with the unlock (serial, registration) code?
On your device in the registration dialog there is a box to enter the unlock code.
- How long is my unlock code valid?
For one major release of STExplorer. The currently released unlock codes will work with all versions of STExplorer up to 1.9.9.
